Getting Started with Goodrich

Our support includes everything you need to get your Goodrich Famous Ice Cream Store headed in the right direction. Whether you need assistance evaluating your existing store location, or selecting a new site, we can help. We also provide sample materials to help you open a store, and a free training course.

LOCATION EVALUATION.

If needed, we will evaluate your chosen location and designate the protected territory for your franchised store. We look at many factors, but the following are considered for every proposed site:

- Average age and household income of nearby population
- Traffic patterns, store visibility and business mix in area
- Equipment and services already on site

GOODRICH FRANCHISE MANUAL.

You are loaned this detailed manual, which includes our specifications, procedures, and rules regarding the operation of your franchise.

STORE OPENING PACKAGE

You are also loaned a complete package of sample forms, promotional brochures, and other documents to help you operate your franchise.

ADVERTISING & PROMOTIONAL APPROVAL

To protect the integrity of the Goodrich brand, and ensure your success in communicating our message to the public, we approve all promotional and advertising materials you plan to use.

INITIAL TRAINING COURSE

Before you open, you receive general, hands-on training in how to operate your Goodrich Ice Cream franchise store. Each store receives up to three hours of on-the-job training at no charge. The training course is conducted at your store immediately before opening. In all, store set-up and training lasts approximately half a day. A training video will be supplied to suplement subsequent training for your employees.
